Slow down, you're moving too fast...

These are truly exciting times. Seems Bodohland is turning into "Bodohwood"? fast! Look at the events since the elections; the protests, the MBs' crisis, the challenge for the UMNO crown, the sneak preview of the Penang land deals of the former government, which is beginning to point to a giant can of worms, and of course, on a brighter note, government to engage bloggers and Zaid Ibrahim's statement about the government to apologize for 1988 Judicial crisis. A field day for scriptwriters and screenplay writers don't you think?

The pace is just too fast! I think we need to slow down a bit. Time to get real and take stock. Actually, this is a totally new experience for all of us. We are charting new territory, think we should go easy and tread with care, lest we fall and break out necks! Just as there are people rejoicing, there are also those who harbor fears and apprehensions. No, I am not talking about the Napoleons in the civil service, I am talking about those ill informed Malay brethren who really believe that they shall be disadvantaged with this change, which, for reasons best known to themselves, the government of the day is not helping to correct this misconception. After 50 years, a sudden change like we just had, we are groping in the dark, what lies ahead is a total mystery to all of us.

What I do know is that its gonna take a lot of trying, some failures, plenty of patience and most of all, healing!
