U-TURN
Seems Siva and Samy crying to the same tune. Are they collaborating? Aha...Machaaa...
ADUN BUNTONG
Well, alls not well too for a party which practices democracy and which has been harping about democracy every where. They have been telling about Malaysian Malaysia and yet only a handful of non Chinese are in the party.
How do you expect for other races to join in when the main language of communication is Mandarin. All this talk of Barisan Rakyat and also Barisan Nasional are all but marriage of convenience.
Race base political party is so pronounced even in DAP. It looks like a family oriented party too, just like what is happening in other parties. Lim Guan Eng is the son of Lim Kit Siang and the husband to Betty Chew.
Karpal with Gopind and Jagjit is another family in the DAP. Not just ordinary members, they are ADUNs too.
Could I come to a conclusion that whatever race or whatever party there will always have some kind of cronyism or nepotism practices in them without realizing it. Lets not forget about PKR with Anwar, Azizah And Nurul Izzah.
So, why the big hu ha about Khairy then? Is it because these other family could not be in power as PackLah that they feel angry or envy?
Homo Sapiens has feelings....Thats why...
FITNA (H)
A scene in the film FITNA by Geert Wilder from Holland showing a woman praying and reciting Al Fatihah in a dress which covers all but ....
A closeup of the woman praying.
The pic shows the scene taken from the film FITNA from Holland which has caused quite a commotion among Muslims all over the world. It shows how a Muslim wearing a see through dress with Arabic writings on her body praying to ALLAH and reciting Al Fatihah in the 1st scene. She starts to narrate about her life, her brutal husband and what not blah blah blah...
This is not how a Muslim dress to pray. For those non Muslim please understand. Everyone else would be ogling at a Muslim womwn here if she were to pray dressed like that.
Anyway what I'm trying to say here is the movie doesn't tell the truth about Islam and it is more of an imagination of the directoe and scriptwriter I guess.
To me, if you want to take it as a documentary that depict Islam as a whole then you're on the wrong track but if you are to take it as just an entertainment and doesn't hold any bearing or whatsoever to Islam then by all means enjoy the show.

A Circus of Ostriches
In schools, where democracy is nurtured, this could hardly qualify as an example of democracy at work or political correctness! What's with these people? Shutting them out does not mean they will disappear, they will be there, at least till the next GE. I just do not see what is wrong in any school inviting state dignitaries to their official functions. Partisan feelings should not be allowed here. As far as I know, there is a Ministry directive outlawing teachers' involvement in politics!
With nitwits like these running our education system, no wonder we have a downward spiral in the universities ranking over the years. Why should the invitation of a non BN state representative even be an issue? That's real shameful and it reflects badly on those so called educationists. Makes it worrisome if I have school going children.
So go bury your head in the sand, you little Napoleons, while the world moves forward, leaving you far behind like the proverbial "katak".
Weathering the Winds of Change
There are those in the public sector who are worried sick about their past practices. Remember those little Napoleons that make us run around all the time? And those who insist on scratching your back, and you would have little choice but to reciprocate or else! The PDRM is no exception!
The IGP's statement today is nothing new, we have heard it before. Just wondering when we will rid ourselves of this IG....oops, I meant these problems in the PDRM. The IGP has made claims to their success in containing corruption in the force, but to date, all we hear are those trumped up cases about non disclosure of assets by some big gun. Apart from that, what's new?
Ahh, I forgot, the look is new! They look so dazzling with this new look. I am sure it is designed to mesmerize us to the extent that all their shortcomings could all be conveniently forgotten. But Malaysians are not dumb! We remember! I think it is better for him to use his time investigating those cases brought up by Raja Petra, where there were sworn affidavits by individuals, instead of making repeated statements about pledges he cannot fulfill. Sometimes I feel the word "Royal" should be removed from their name. Don't you think it's insulting to the King?
Ah, those in the last Penang State exco, the Napoleons in the Land Office, I suppose they are preparing for a winter vacation somewhere. Similarly for those in Perak and Selangor. There were reports that the ACA has investigated the Penang land improprieties. Now what happens if "Rip van Winkle" is involved? By all accounts, I believe he should be. After all, he was the one who officiated at the launch of PGCC.
With 5 opposition States and a host of national scandals, it will only be a matter of time before we hear the Immigrations boys complaining about heavy workload. Lots of migration (running away, chau lor) on the cards!
They call this a political tsunami, better if it had been a deluge!

RICH FOLKS
The now defunct MB is seen here with Patrick Lim, happily laughing away. This is how the rapport should be between the project owner and his contractor. Not just bashing each other up during the progress meetings. Could be laughing all the way to the bank for both of them coz from what I heard the Crystal Mosque was laden with V.O's...
The introducer...with the contractor. Seems here the introducer is entertaining the contractor at his official home funded by the taxpayers money, the food too is our money but the smiles are all theirs.
Reason for escalation in price of contracts are these jetsetting lifestyle. Mode of transport is by air. Owns a copter, yacht and who knows what. Well seems he's very proud of it and was heard throwing the No.1's name everywhere he goes. Who wouldn't?
The people who make them what they are today and day after. Do you think these people are stupid? No. They are people who believes in you. The real down to earth rakyat who feel for you, supports you and would be willing to even die for you and the country. These are the rakyat that still believes on the clean image that PackLah has portrayed before he starts minggling with the jetsetters..
Say SORRY PackLah...
Pics of PackLah and friends are from kickdefella blog. Hope he doesn't mind coz I did not wait for his approval before posting.
ANOTHER RUMOUR....
PackLah : Yo Hardy and Nicky...How are u guys?
H&N : Cool man...Whats up?
PackLah : Got a proposition for u guys man..Wanna hear?
H&N : Shoot...
PackLah : I'm in deep shit man...You guys gotta help me out man.
H&N : So whats new...Jeanne leaving u? U need viagra?
PackLah : Cut the crap man...I'm serious..Listen...This asshole bandit is going around buying up

H&N : So...whats your deal?
PackLah : Your party and mine are the only true Malay Party. Lets gang up and beat the shit
out of him.
H&N : Accept your Islam ada hari? No way...
PackLah : Join the coalition and just forget the ada hari lah...With you guys BN will be able to
get back 4 states and we'll be strong in the parliament. Definitely those boys will not
defect because they only go for the money...
H&N : Whats in it for us?
PackLah : What do you want?
H&N : We want to rule Kedah and Kelantan our way...But the rest we'll tell you later..
PackLah : Timbalan MB is mine...
H&N : Guess it would be ok...But we have to go thru our Shu'ra first before giving you the green light.
PackLah : When can I get the result...Can't wait any longer..theyr're after me man...
H&N : We'll let you know...
PackLah : Fasterla dey....

The Real Winners of the 12th GE
During his first week in office, the Penang State CM had already uncovered some shady land deals concluded during the previous administration. Some of the known cases cited were the development in Tanjung Tokong (E & O Properties) and a package in the vicinity of the Jelutong Expressway (IJM Properties, I think). The latest rumours of course was the one posted by Bangsa Malaysia awhile ago! This rumour has been circulating for a couple of days now. There has been no official response to this rumour. It would be unlikely for anyone in the old administration to come forward with any statement. These are only the tip of the iceberg. According to coffee shop politicians, apparently there are a host of other abuses, an indication that Mr. Clean's government is not so clean!
We are confining ourselves to Penang only. What about the other 4 States? What will their respective administration uncover? Come to think of it, there won't be much to uncover, all shredded and bleached!
All this information were usually forwarded through SMS and whether they were rumours or facts is another issue, the real winners of the 12th GE undoubtedly are the telcos!

A Good Prayer, but NOT for Politicians
A Pastor with GUTS!!
Thought you might enjoy this interesting
prayer given in Kansas at
the opening session of their Senate. It seems
prayer still upsets some
people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is
what they heard:
'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it
welfare
We have killed our unborn and called it
choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it
justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..
We have abused power and called it
politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of __expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!'
The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India ,Africa and Korea .
Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.
With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'
If possible, please pass this prayer on to
your friends. 'If you don't stand for something,
you will fall for everything.'
Think about this: If you forward this
prayer to everyone on your
e-mail list, in less than 30 days it would be
heard by the world.
How many people in your address book will
not receive this prayer.....do you have the guts to pass it on?
Love & God Bless
RIFLE RANGE
"Dear poor Penangnites, pls b informed that our former Chief Minister Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon has cheated Penang people on government land sales. A big piece of open land located at Padang Tembak, beside Sekolah Pd tembak (formerly belongs to poor people of their houses being demolished) is now converted into individual property with the owner named KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN, son-in-law of Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi. We Penang people would like to appeal to new CM Lim Guan Eng to take immediate legal action against previous BN government for such an inhuman deals & return back the land to Penang people. Koh Tsu Koon is now residing in KL when this land deal was exposed to the knowledge of the public. We want ex-CM to explain for this matter. Pls sms to all."
If this really true then something must be done about it. Yo..Penangites

TDM
A Concerned Malaysian has expressed his worry over the role being played by Sultans in the appointment of the Mentri Besar.
His Royal Highnesses have clearly refused to take the advice of the Chief Minister i.e. the Prime Minister. Instead, they have chosen on their own a member of the state legislature to head the Government.
We hear a lot of opinions on the propriety of the action by the Sultan. Some say he has the right to do this while others point out that as a constitutional ruler, he could not do this.
The Constitution says that the Ruler or Head of State must choose the elected member who enjoys the support of the majority of members in the legislative body to be the Prime Minister or the Mentri Besar. Subject to this provision, the Ruler it is who chooses and appoints the Prime Minister or Mentri Besar.
The Prime Minister, as Prime Minister, has no role in the choice of the State Mentri Besar or Ketua Menteri. His naming of candidate who should be the Mentri Besar is purely a party matter. Obviously, if the State is captured by the Opposition Party, he cannot name the candidate.
However, if the Ruler chooses someone who does not enjoy majority support, he could be deposed at a sitting of the legislative body through a vote of "no confidence".
After that, another member can be appointed by the Ruler to take his place. But if for some reason, there is no other candidate or the candidate with majority support is considered unsuitable by the Ruler, a new Government cannot be formed. The Ruler may then dissolve the legislative body and a new election may be held.
This new election may lead to the same impasse. The Ruler may not like the member with majority support.
However, it should be noted that this kind of thing had never happened during the premiership of the four previous Prime Ministers. Concerned Malaysians should wonder why.
Is it just that the particular Ruler is being difficult, unwilling to accept the principles of democracy, wanting to return to feudalism and the absolute authority of the monarch?
I do not think so. There must be a reason why the Ruler refuses to accept the candidate named by the party. But the Ruler chooses not to reveal the reasons and indulge in public debates. He merely expresses his displeasure by refusing to do what normally the Rulers would do.
Concerned Malaysians must ask what has the particular candidate done which is so wrong that it incurs the displeasure of the Ruler.
There are lots of talks in the town. Terengganu is blessed with petroleum deposits. It should get 5% of the total earning from oil production. The Federal Government; fearing the previous PAS government might use this money wrongly had withheld payment.
But when the Barisan Nasional (BN) regained Terengganu the money, now called "Wang Ehsan", was lavishly spent by the Federal Government on Terengganu. It is not a small sum. Over these years "Wang Ehsan" totalled several billion.
We know that since the BN regained Terengganu in 2004, all kinds of projects have been developed in Terengganu. This includes The Monsoon Cup, luxury housing for sale to foreigners, Crystal Mosque and theme park, university, etc. Some of these projects are very good but many are totally unnecessary and wasteful.
But what the Terengganu people are saying is that all these mega projects costing billions of Ringgit have been contracted out to people outside Terengganu. Terengganu contractors got practically nothing.
But additionally, they say the contracts all went to one person and they are suspicious that behind this person are members of the first family. The rumours also say that the previous Mentri Besar was responsible for these things happening and of course, they think that he might have benefited financially.
The rumours went on to say that the Prime Minister might have influenced the Mentri Besar into doing wrong things. These are all rumours. It will be quite impossible to prove anything as the perpetrators are skilled in hiding themselves.
This is not good for a Government keen to abolish corruption and be transparent. To clear its name, an investigation should be made.
But the public is leery of investigations by Government agencies and departments. Even Royal Commissions are not highly regarded. The people believe, not true of course, that the Government has been interfering with the work of the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), the Police and the Attorney General (A-G)'s Chambers. The say this is borne out by the results of investigations by these agencies.
When a Deputy Minister was accused of accepting money for the release of a detainee, the A-G said there was no case because the detainee said he did not give any money to the Deputy Minister. It is so easy. If you have a case involving someone, all the enforcement agencies need to do is to ask him whether he was involved. If he says "no", then there is no case.
For some reason, judges are finding that people accused of murder are not guilty because of insufficient evidence by the police. Yet people who are totally not involved in a case, who were not accused of any misdeeds and who did not appear in court at all and been given a hearing are found guilty and publicly condemned.
The public cannot be blamed for not having faith in Government agencies doing investigations. The public cannot be blamed for suspecting cover-ups by the Government or worse still the Government may be using these enforcement agencies to threaten people.
To clear its good name, the Government should get credible foreign agencies to do the investigation. Of course, they must be given full access to the documents etc.
Now my detractors are going to say I did worse things when I was Prime Minister. Well, if that is so, let us have the foreign agencies investigate me also. I am aware that people are looking into possible misdeeds by me during my 22 years so as to threaten me and ask me to shut up. So far they have not found anything.
Not only have I not taken anything that was not due to me while I was Prime Minister but I have given back to the Government and the people everything that I had received as gifts during my tenure of office.
The Government had offered me land in Kedah and Langkawi and I had refused to accept. I have a 5-acre plot in Putrajaya which I paid for even though the Government was offering it to me free.
Unless there is a frame-up, I think there should be nothing to pin on me. Even other accusations against me, including the dismissal of judges, were not my doing and I do not feel obliged to apologise. Ask the Tribunal to apologise.
The person asking that the Government should apologise for what happened to Tun Salleh Abbas may have forgotten that as President of the Muslim Lawyers Association, he fully supported the action that was taken. He castigated the Bar Council for condemning Tun Hamid Omar over the dismissal of judges. Now he wants to be more correct than correct. I wonder why.

PACK LAH's FAMILY
"Harun Din boleh tangkap Jin saja...Tapi Pak Lah boleh telanjangkan Jeanne"
BADawi in self destruct mode!
Every move made thus far, save for a few, has not calmed nerves. Tabling the IPCMC would be an upcoming thrilling episode. Will he do it or is it just lip-service? Postponing or delaying the UMNO general assembly is a vain attempt to hang on to the last vestiges of power.
His deputies and those in his current cabinet seem rather quiet. For the first time, party problems has diverted their focus from making ill gotten gains and keris waving, to immediate survival. That's good when we don't hear or see much of them.
Taking a page off his football illustration, let's look at the goals he has conceded. Chiefly among them, his tiff with the Royalties of Trengganu and Perlis, UMNO divisions in Johor calling for him to step down, his inability/unwillingness to endorse Zaid Ibrahim's call for an apology to the victims of the 1988 Judicial crisis. Through all his misgivings, he still claims to have the support of UMNO and BN. Clearly, he is in a state of denial!
Things are not looking very rosy for the PM. It's only a matter of months before he faces stronger opposition from within that will lead to his ouster. Already, Razaleigh, contender number one, has openly challenged for the crown. Next please!

Men - God's Creation?
Whatever his intentions, it was welcomed by the masses. However, responses from some political and some ex-NGO leaders were quite disappointing in my opinion. The direction which these characters are pursuing shall only lead to more chaos and disorder. They should be ignored! Tis the time for healing, man! An apology would be deemed appropriate. The judgment, let's leave that to GOD!
It is time to move forward, the last GE results have dictated so! Dwelling in the past ain't getting us nowhere.
So, if you believe that Man is GOD's creation, you should also notice that HE has found it fit to design us with our eyes in front of our faces and not behind our heads. Shouldn't we let bygones be bygones?
ACTION PACKED
Reminds me of Penang's very own Lorong Gaharu but without the moustache and gotee...
Today at 3pm monks of the highest level in UMNO will sit down and discuss about what to do with the Terengganu issue and also to talk about the postponement of the UMNO election for the year.
The postponement was relayed to the public by info chief warrior Mike Tyson saying that division chiefs who came to convey their concern to PackLah, though not all at the same time but in groups at different times. To me these are chiefs who are scared of losing their power...
UMNO's working committe discussed on Wednesday, chaired by Najib in attendance of the secretary, info chief, the 3 deputies and all heads of UMNO wings and decided that they want it to go on as scheduled. These are chiefs who see great opportunity in getting a step higher in the hierarchy by eating someone or asking someone to just pack and go and giving him an exaggerated sending off to Australia maybe?
Well Najib definitely have something up his sleeve. He is just a step away from the No.1 post. The most powerful man in Malaysia if you make it so, but could be the most hated guy among your own race if you start losing states and blame everyone else for the lost.
The "Next Change" action packed movie is just around the corner if the election goes on as scheduled featuring all the stalwarts of UMNO as actors. Let us see the massacre within and probably the emergence of a new but old hero...
PACK LAH ADMITS DEFEAT
Pack Lah went to the palace after being granted an audience by DYMM Yang Di Pertuan Agong Sultan Mirzan yesterday evening. Reason he was there was to discuss about the MB of Terengganu issue since Agong is also the Sultan of Terengganu.
The billion dollar question that was put to him by the Agong was,"Please explain to me how Idris Jusoh disburse the 1 billion ringgit a year "wang ehsan"(oil royalty) that was given by the Govt since BN took over Terengganu in 2004 and till today Terengganu has the second highest poverty rate in Malaysia".
Guess PackLah would have answered that he will investigate or was not informed or "Patek tak tahu".
With that, the case was considered close and PackLah was instructed to see the new MB and also Idris to settle this issue.
Just thinking if Sultan Mirzan had the same power at Federal level, I guess he would not have let PackLah took the oath as PM.....

Same Shit, New Look!
PM Abdullah BADawi has admitted that one of the reasons for the BN's poor showing was the result of their failure to listen to the people. So this retroactive PM quickly swung into action by promising to tend to the Rakyat's grouses by promising to table the IPCMC bill in Parliament soon, though 4 years late. Taking it a step further, it was reported in today's "Star" that the PDRM is going to get a new look. See, this guy is action packed! A rather innovative way of cleaning up the police force!
I hope our "aku tak tahu" PM realizes that it takes more than a new look to transform what we have into something world class, something the Rakyat can trust and respect! In most parts of the civilized world, the police are usually viewed as public-oriented. They are seen as someone whom one can get assistance and protection from. Well, that's what I would want to. Somehow, here in Malaysia, the cop is usually looked at from a very negative perspective. Unfortunately, they only have themselves to blame for this sad state of affairs.
We learn that a policeman's role is supposed to be preventive. I don't see how this preventive role is effected when you find them 50 meters from the road junction, under a big tree, behind the bushes! That, is when you see them, but these days, come to think of it, you don't see much of them except during "operasi".
"Why do they wear such an intimidating look during "operasi" ? Is it their way of literally showing their authority? Whatever happened to good old courtesy? A smile would be nice!
I don't see how a gentler, friendlier disposition could in any way dent their authority. Time they learn that respect has got to be earned!
Anyway, nice try, BADawi, lets see if you can still turn Parliament into an UMNO circus when you actually table the IPCMC bill!
PARANOID
After dinner is the time when dad will just throw in a few queries about school and what not, just to update himself. This is also the time when you have to mention about the report card for him to sign. There is no excuse for you for not getting all blue on your card. No matter what your explanation is, whether the whole class fails that subject or you were not feeling well that day, my dad would say , " You did not study. What have you been doing. You did not pay attention in class. You play too much. You watch too much TV blah, blah, blah.....I'm not going to sign it"
I got no answer for it. I was to be blamed for my wrong doings. I should have studied a little bit more. Maybe I should have forego that TV series that I love so much. I should not have been sleeping in my chemistry class. I should have used mechanical pencil in my technical drawing or I should not have given up on what differentiation and integration in add maths and blah blah blah...I will always put the blame onto myself first before I analyse what really went wrong. The result after the analysis will always be on my side. I was damn right for blaming myself.
This flashback came on to me after I listen to Mike Tyson aka Mohd Mohd Taib saying that the UMNO general election would be postpone to next year to avoid disaster if it was held as scheduled.
This is just like me facing up to my father to review my report card. Scared stiff. Why? Because I have dissapointed my father. The difference here is my father cannot change me from being his child, while the UMNO members are eager to change their leader.
What kind of a leader are you Pak Lah if you dare not face your own party members? Can't you explain why UMNO lost so many seats? You have no answer as to why the Malays are not supporting the only Malay party in the BN? You scared you'll lose your job? You scared your empire comes to an end?
Those guys who proposed for the postponement are scared their money making post is gonna vanish. They definitely knew what the outcome is gonna be. They're buying time. For what? To make enough money to last for a few generations?
Cut the crap guys. This is your example of KETUANAN MELAYU for other race to see. This is how to convince the rakyat that you are able to lead them but you guys are acting like dogs with the tail between the legs and whimper. You're gonna get no vote from the Malays anymore.
Stand up. Take the blame. Burn the deadwood. At least it is put to good use and able to heat up some left overs. Not the hippies definitely.
Hisham should take out his keris now and demand for the UMNO GE to carry on as scheduled. Use that keris to kill whatever germ or viruses that has penetrated UMNO and revive it rather than showing it to inflict fear to other rakyats...No Class...
Shoul have copied how I analyse myself and they will definitely see.
Overheard - Coffee Shop Talk
Talk was mostly centred on the aftermath of the elections and particularly on the statement made by the new CM of Penang, and its repercussion. The UMNO led protest in Komtar. The argument these gentlemen had was about the police handling of the situation.
In my opinion, they (PDRM), were, for once, carrying out their duties as they should. Meaning, crowd control, traffic control and nipping whatever untoward incidents there may be, in the bud. I felt that should be something commendable. The tear gas were missing, so were the water cannons. So, where did they go wrong?
One of the gentlemen saw something else. What he saw was, the PDRM practicing double standards! His argument was both Bersih and Hindraf were protesting for their rights, so did the protesters at Komtar. "Somehow, the reception from the PDRM was so different. In the earlier cases, the entire police arsenal was unveiled, but an UMNO led protest, well, that's a different ball game!"
So, heads you win, tails I lose.

BOLEHLAND
I cannot accept Malaysia as Bodohland..period.
And what is so bright about Zaid's statement asking the Government to apologise for the Judicial crisis which happens 20 years ago. Was he engage as Minister of Law to dig up old cases and starts telling people what is wrong and what is right on things that happened 20 years ago? Or was he instructed to divert the attention of the rakyat away from the call for Pak Lah to step down? In other words he was trying to show how wrong Dr M's administration was and leave it to the rakyat to justify how transparent Pak Lah's admin is.
What he should have done now is to tell Pak Lah to at least admit that he undertake full responsibility for the BN's losses. Instead he's trying to make Pak Lah a hero! This is a guy who was accused of practising money politics by UMNO, and did not contest in the last GE but eventually made Minister Of Law.
Surely this cabinet of Pak Lah are full of opportunist politicians and willing to lick dirt off the table when Pak Lah orders them to.
It is true that the political scenario has changed to an action packed script, well we the rakyat needs to be entertained too at times. The Malays, Chinese, Indians and even Royalty has snubbed Pak Lah now. Why? What went wrong? Where did it go wrong? These are mysteries left to be unfold sooner or later, but definitely not through the Mainstream Media.
To me, let bygones be bygones and leave all punishment to GOD. We are moving towards an era where people are with abundance of choice and willing to take risk, but in the eyes of the Govt. we the rakyat are like underage citizens which needed certain guides on what we should and should not do. Lets move forward..Looking backwards is to remind us not to make whatever mistake that we have done rather than apologizing all the wrongdoings.
Cheers..
Slow down, you're moving too fast...
The pace is just too fast! I think we need to slow down a bit. Time to get real and take stock. Actually, this is a totally new experience for all of us. We are charting new territory, think we should go easy and tread with care, lest we fall and break out necks! Just as there are people rejoicing, there are also those who harbor fears and apprehensions. No, I am not talking about the Napoleons in the civil service, I am talking about those ill informed Malay brethren who really believe that they shall be disadvantaged with this change, which, for reasons best known to themselves, the government of the day is not helping to correct this misconception. After 50 years, a sudden change like we just had, we are groping in the dark, what lies ahead is a total mystery to all of us.
What I do know is that its gonna take a lot of trying, some failures, plenty of patience and most of all, healing!

RACE BASE POLITICAL PARTY
MCA formed February 27th 1949 .
MIC formed August 1946
UMNO formed on May 11th 1946
UMNO and MCA join first in '52 and later in '55 MIC came in. Thats where the term May I Come was first initialised.. Jokes bro..
These are the 3 major race base political party now operating. Why do they exist in the first place? Coz.. At that point of time most of the Chinese and Indians comes from China and India. The language barrier is huge. Communication was like chicken and duck. Thus the need for them to be united and elect a leader to speak for them. But as time goes on, the literacy rate has gone up and all the schools teaches Bahasa Malaysia/Melayu as a compulsory subject and yet there are so many of us who cannot command the language well. Why is that so? The easiest way to realise a Bangsa Malaysia is to have a common language like what Indonesia has and that is Bahasa Malaysia. This part is the easiest among all to do. Learn to communicate in 1 language.
With 1 period a day for mandarin or tamil language studies is good enough for all ethnics to learn their mother tounge but not to the extend of using the language till you can't pronounce Bahasa Malaysia well..
Bangsa Malaysia should be able to communicate through 1 language. Bangsa Malaysia should use only 1 language. If we had agreed upon the Bangsa Malaysia concept, then there should not be anymore ethnic schools. There should not be Chinese School, Indian School or Malay School.
It has nothing to do with ethnic cleansing or whatsoever. It has got to do with rebranding the Malaysian ethnic. If we are able to accept this then Bangsa Malaysia would not be very far away.
Let us not talk about race base political party as yet if we are not even able to communicate in one common language.
Screw the politicians
Just got back from the club. Interesting conversation/debate we had. Topic ? Race based political parties in Malaysia. There were those who felt, like I do, that race based politics in this country is doomed. Then there were those who begged to differ. What are your thoughts?
Well, you know me, I'm all for Bangsa Malaysia, but Bangsa Malaysia has no room for race based political parties! So, in my opinion, parties like UMNO, MIC, MCA is completely irrelevant from here on now!
The interesting argument that I got was, Hindraf is race based (or was it religious based?), and if not for Hindraf, how could Samy Vellu be defeated? Food for thought!
To me, brother, Bangsa Malaysia is not so difficult to achieve. All it takes is that we be honest with ourselves, and always place ourselves as MALAYSIANS first, before our own ethnicity.
Imagine, Wong Fei Hoong and Mat Kilau doing the tango!
TUN M
He said this after launching the Late Tan Sri Basir Ismail's "Management Astray: Resuscitationg Ailing Organisation". His further response to a question on why some UMNO leadrers had resigned was that they should have spelt out the weaknesses in UMNO and BN rather than making up reasons of not being given a ministerial post.
Well to me, though lots and lots of rakyat despise Tun, but do not forget he has done lots of things to Malaysia. Like the malay saying ,"Buat Baik Berpada Pada, Buat Jahat Jangan Sekali", which means, whatever good that you have done will be drowned once you do something wrong and that wrongdoing is the one that you will be remembered by.

Responded to ur invite. Checked the site out, pretty cool for a lst post! Ok, now what do I do? Do I post directly onto the blog? Please advise and stop laughing, you can't really blame me for playing the part, it is expected, cos' people say "intel inside, idiot outside!"
Well that was the response I get when I invite 2Tone to put down his views in writing so the world would be able to interact with him on his views.
Today the new Minister of Information says that the Bloggers views must be taken into consideration and that the bloggers had played an important part in the last General Election. What he has forgotten to add was that the Bloggers had played an important role in stripping BN of its so called "INVINCIBLE" power.
He will set up a meeting with all you bloggers and he is definitely goint tell about what seditious writing means. Thats BN....either threaten you or bribe you. I would prefer the bribe actually...LOL.

1ST ENTRY
Actually planned this blog for quite a while now, but doesn't really have an idea how to kick off. Did a few drafts though but it don't turn out right I guess till recently when I was communicating with a friend whom I'm gonna introduce to all as "2Tone". We were just talking about the most popular subject these few weeks, namely "THE GE 12".
We got to a part when I actually asked him how he feels about the recent results of the GE, and what does he think of the malays in Penang now after UMNO was washed on the Island. Guess I'll just start off the blog with what had transpire during our emailing thingy...Here goes
2 Tone said : bro,
apa khabar? like the results of the recent elections? for me, these r very exciting times.
anyway, as per your request, here's what's overheard at the scene of the demo at Komtar, "kita dah kalah, dah selesai, kachau apa UMNO ? pi lah cari makan!"
i think the sensible supporters have already conceded, it's the UMNOputer ass who is trying to create a tense environment. however, i think the general public are sensible and matured enough to tell. Of course there shall be the simple minded from both sides who will believe all kinds of rumors as long as they are juicy!
BM said : Yeah got it..Seems to me they r sore losers. They just dont know how to accept losing.
What is your actual feeling right now. Though its still too early to tell what or how the new govt turns out, what r ur xpectation and how do you think will affect ur day to day activities.
Just to let u know, 20th there will be a gathering at the State Mosque after the Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Mohd's something...). Might be a huge crowd there. Don't think any untoward incidents gonna take place but maybe jam and stuff like dat. You knpw lah dis mamak all, when there r lots of them, they think they r invincible but actually they r insensible.
Take care dude..
2Tone said : Yeah, heard about the gathering, but over here the word is that this has something to do with SIL, not the mamaks.
Anyway, I am very happy with the results of the last election. To me, this marks the maturity of our electorate, and what is even more cause to celebrate is that our Malay brethren, the majority has seen the light and are thinking along the same line as the non bumi, meaning, many are now aware that the common enemy are those elite in UMNO.
I believe the political landscape in this country has changed forever, for better. The race based parties are as good as obsolete now, and that augers well for a young nation like ours.
If all of us can keep our cool, and not allow ourselves to succumb to UMNO rhetorics, there is hope yet for this country. It is the forces of UMNO that is trying to create tensions (definitely not riots, because they stand to lose too!), to make things difficult for the opposition.
long live democracy!

Well to me, even the malays in Penang reacts to situations like mamak..hahaha...LOUD..
That is very true about the maturity of the voters. The gist of it all in this GE is that lots and lots of rakyat just hates the PM. What other reasons do they have? Every one shares a common feel that the PM is not doing what he should be doing. Though maybe lots o' ppl still have that feeling that a PM should do like what Dr.M does cos he has been up there so long and seriously I think Dr.M is a much better CEO than Pack Lah.
2Tone said : bro,
we got plenty work to do man! appreciate your views but a little baffled as to your comment about Penang Malays being confused! i think they should have nothing to worry about. look, if you were to look back to those good old P. Ramlee days, you would remember the level of goodwill the different races used to enjoy, the broadmindedness of the Malays and the word "lucah" was not invented yet!
i may be wrong, but here i offer my observations on how the BN failed so badly :-
1) A PM who is virtually in the dark about what running a country is like, (now that is worse than a sleeping PM)
2) Playing with dangerous weapons (wonder why Police did not consider it an offensive weapon, the kris)
3) Open rejection of Bangsa Malaysia (Ghani Othman)
4) Judiciary with BN scales (if u watch carefully, the scales are actually dipping one side) and confirmed by Lingam
5) The sycophants of all the various component parties of BN, who seemed to believe that the ruling elite can do no wrong, so much so, that when their own communities are sidelined, they still believe that UMNO did that in the interest of the non Bumis.
Bro, i could go on, but no. Listen if we really subscribe to this exciting idealogy of Bangsa Malaysia, then the entire country has only to look out for the fucking newspaper reporters of the mainstream media! These will be the dogs (haram) of the BN whom I believe is out to create tension (note, tension not riots) to make it difficult for the DAP, PKR and PAS to rule.
Long live Malaysia!
Long live Bangsa Malaysia
Long live democracy!
And may we see in the very near future, scenes like Labu, Labi playing with Ah Chong, Ah Beng and of course two nice Indian kids, though preferably they are not call Samy or Lingam!
BM said : Hahahaha,
U know why...Because they all drink beer ma those days.Thats y they r more open minded. There r no Malays going round town wearing a turban unless he just came back from pilgrimage. Thats y till now, whenever u c somebody with turban(malay i mean) and skull cap, u still refer them as Haji. Old skool man. Religion has played quite a big part in the separation of races. The so called "Religious Man" have interprete Islam in such a way that all the other races or other faith are infidels, kafir, untrustworthy, eat babi etc... but they forget or they chose not to remember that the god they are praying to is the one who created all these infidels, kafir, untrustworthy and eat babi guys...
From what I gather, there is but one god, everyone on this planet who believes in god pray to that god only ma. Different way of praying but goes to the same guy ma..Then y must we hate each other.
This thought of mine covers to what ever beliefs or faith that ur into. If u like my ideology, be my 1st disciple. We will change the world.Hahaha. Since staying in Trengganu for the last 2 months I guess I have found the Sky Kingdom. Hahahaha
But to me, I feel(nothing to do with what UMNO feels) if we ourselves, the grassroots cannot integrate, what more the leaders. They are performers la bro. They sing to you, songs which get the most applause. They crack jokes that get the most applause. They give speeches on subjects which they see playing on the streets.
I'm all for it man. The bangsa Malaysia. It is still a dream for me till today. How many close malay friends do u have? How many close indian friend do u have? Are u comfortable sitting at a table of 10 being a lone chinese?
How to change all that? When can change all that? Who is goin to do it?
We lah got to do it. I have started long time ago. Thats how I know u guys.
Hahahahaha.. Fuck the govt lah who ever it may be. HIPPY WAY IS THE BEST WAY.
Know what? I'm gonna start a blog by posting what we have wrote here. Ok with u? I'm gonna call it MAKE LOVE NOT WAR. U n I are the authors. Let me know and I'll set it up. Share our ideas with the world.
Peace Bro
2Tone said : Extremely good idea! Go ahead with the blog, man. I would also like to put in my 2 sen worth of thoughts for the country. Perhaps we can attract like minded people to share their thoughts with us too. And, in doing so, maybe the blog may become a constructive force in nation building (so much for the ego!).
You asked me a very interesting question, "How comfortable I'd be in a table of 10, being the only Chinese and the rest Malays?" Before I answer that, I would like to point out that the scenario you painted, whatever picture you see can be very deceptive. How's why. The point is not how comfortable I'd be, but I feel the question should have been "How many close Malay friends do I have?" It's blunt, but I suppose if you are addressing someone whom you call "friend" it is not right to beat about the bush too! Well, honestly, BM, I have only a handful of Malay friends now (it was much easier keeping Malay friends while at school), you being one of them. So the point I'm driving at is if I have many Malay friends, being the odd one out will not make me uneasy. It is when I am not with Malay friends but rather at some gathering with Malays, whom at best I regard as acquintances, in all honesty, I should feel uneasy, just as uneasy when I have to attend Chinese functions, alone!!
So, like you said, if all of us acknowledges that fact that there is only one GOD, and the only difference is that all of us worship HIM in our own unique ways.
Let's change the subject and talk about the devil. And who are they? To the uninitiated, they are as many devils as there are Gods. Anyway, just so you won't be misled, I'll let u know who these devils are, remember, they are THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA!
Take care, don't let the newspaper men send you to Holland.
Here we are with our 1st posting.
I was at the Masjid Kapitan Keling this evening trying to actually witness what the hu ha was all about cos of the rumours flying around about what the Malays are going to do today, 20/3/08.
Loads of shutterbugs were there too, from Mainstream media and who knows. But for sure I saw one from BERNAMA interviewing the organiser.
Nothing untoward incident happens except the procession went as planned where contingents from Muslim NGO's, Residents Association, UMNO and Mydins too.
Nothing happen...Its good to see. Well hope it stays that way, coz I hate to see incidents which involves innocent bystanders, shop owners losing their income for the day, traffic congestion and all sorts of things that could happen in a flick of a second.
